I identify knowledge gaps and opportunities for systems change and deliver solutions by facilitating industry collaboration, community engagement and practical analysis. I am also deeply engaged in fostering inter-cultural relations with textile changemakers in the Asia-Pacific region.

Currently, I’m driving a new phase of impact as Social & Environmental Manager at APG&Co. I have designed and consulted for groundbreaking fashion social enterprise, The Social Outfit, helping them achieve sustained growth as a one-of-a-kind ethical organisation. In my role as an educator I have taught technical textiles and design theory at Tainan National University of the Arts, UTS, UNSW Art & Design and Vantan Design Institute, Tokyo.

I also work closely with cultural institutions and platforms such as Garland Magazine and the Japan Foundation, where I advise, curate exhibitions and publish written pieces.

I am a trained fashion and textile designer specialising in both industrial and traditional methods across printing, dyeing and weaving. From 2017 – 2019 I studied plant dyeing and fibre arts in Kyoto, Japan and Tainan, Taiwan.
